Fill up the cup and gulp it down

Fill up the cup and gulp it down A few minutes in wonderland But then it turns your insides out Somehow, the drink’s back in your hand

You pour some more and drink it up And try so hard to understand Why does it make much less sense now Than when it did just beforehand

Too late, the poison’s in your blood And in your guts, and in your head Too late, why did I do this now? Too late, my vision’s turning red I could have been outside instead Of rotting lifeless in my bed Too late*W
